As the Biblical Counseling ministry of Pine Grove Community Church desire to be used by God to “speak His truth in love.” We know that the path to maturity is often steep and rough and at times filled with pain and confusion. However, there are answers. We believe that the Bible is God’s all-sufficient guide for relational living. There is a path to life in every area of sin and suffering.
The title “biblical counseling” means that we will seek to understand what the Bible says is the best possible path toward wholeness and healing in every situation. We understand that it is the authority to be obeyed and that God uses that faithful obedience as a kind of partnership with Him as He is working in the situation.
We believe that God established the Church as a safe place where the hope of the Gospel and the care of equipped people can provide help and healing.
Ministries Offered
As a ministry of Pine Grove Community Church, because we know that change happens most effectively within the context of spiritual community, our services are only offered to our regular attenders. As a discipleship ministry of a local church, we offer:
- Individual biblical counseling regarding spiritual and personal issues.
- Pre-marital biblical counseling.
- Marital biblical counseling.
- Family/parental biblical counseling: With children under the age of thirteen, we work primarily with the parents and/or with the parents and children.
- Adolescent biblical counseling: with parental consent and involvement.
